SEAN KRUCK

Over the past 15 years Sean has created an extensive body of work that includes TV drama, short films, commercials and music videos.

His award winning short films - Summer Breaks, (featuring Mia Wasikowska) and Snowblind have individually screened at over 15 international festivals including, Berlin International Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival and Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival. Summer Breaks won the Rouben Mamoulian award for best short film at the Sydney Film Festival.

Sean has participated in various Screen Australia development programs including Springboard, Hotshots and Talent Escalator where he became an international director’s attachment on the Amazon Studios feature film Gringo, directed by Nash Edgerton. He has also participated in the MIFF accelerator program and was one of 10 filmmakers internationally to be chosen to attend the prestigious Binger Film Lab in Amsterdam.

In 2014 Sean directed several episodes of the celebrated Australian cult classic TV show, Puberty Blues, alongside Glenyn Ivin (The Cry) for Endemol Australia. 

Sean is currently in development on his first feature with Blue-Tongue Films working alongside Michele Bennett (Judy & Punch, Chopper), and Nash Edgerton (Mr Inbetween, Gringo) with the support of Create NSW and Screen Australia.
